Where do you gather all of your data and what is crowdsourcing?

Our CrimeSolversCentral database is populated with data from various sources, both private and governmental that are either open to the public or via private membership.

One of the main aspects of our site that sets us aside from other similar sources of information is the amount of data that we compile from crowdsourcing.

WHAT IS CROWDSOURCING?
We receive a very high number of submissions daily with updates, modifications and error fixes for our data.  These updates are then verified by one of our data specialists and once validated are added to the case.  This allows us to stay up-to-date on all the latest information with the highest level of accuracy possible.

To submit an update on any specific case simply navigate to the page for that case and click on the 'Provide Case Information' button.

To submit a case that does not exist at all in our database, click on the 'Submit New Case' button.

You can also click 'Follow for Updates' to stay updated with email notifications anytime a case that you are interested in has any updates, additional source links added, new images or any other modifications.

Our data specialists research and approve the data submitted as quickly as possible but we have a very high volume, so this can take some time.  For users who are members, your submissions are expedited.  So please consider becoming a member!
